1. What kind of payment options are accepted?
We accept online ordering through major credit cards, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover. Other offline options are through check, money order. Alternatively, you can also pay through PayPal.

2. Where is my registered version?
Once your order is approved, we will send a confirmation email to your email address. In the confirmation email, it will contain a download link to the full version. Before installing the full version,please uninstall the trial version and some old files you will need to remove it manually from the installation folder.

4. I have purchased Recordzilla, how do I upgrade to the latest version?
All purchase is entitle to receive unlimited upgrades for a year. Just send an upgrade request to softdiv@softdivshareware.com to claim the free upgrade when there is a new version available.

5. What are the recommended system requirements for Recordzilla?
Windows 7, 8, 10, 11 with at least 256 MB RAM and 300 MB harddisk space.

6. I have purchased Recordzilla but I have format my pc. Do I need to pay again?
As long as your purchase is still within a year, you can always get the latest version at no cost.

7. How do I uninstall Recordzilla?
Click on Start Windows - Program Files - Recordzilla - Uninstall .

8. While installing the full version, I received "File corrupted" message?
Try download again later.

9. The recorded video is blank?
Make sure that you have disable the hardware acceleration option under the General Settings. If you still receive blank recorded video, please try this:

For Windows 2000/XP/2003
Click on Start Windows Control Panel, Display, Settings, Advanced, Troubleshooting tab, and set Hardware Acceleration to None.

For Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8 , Windows 10, Windows 11
Click on Start Windows, Control Panel, Display Settings, Advanced Settings, Troubleshooting tab, Change Settings and set Hardware Acceleration to None.

10. There is no audio on the recorded video?
Please make sure that you have check the "Record Audio" under the Audio Settings. Check that if you have selected the right audio device and the source. For example;

If you are capturing the sound from internet streaming, CDs, sound from player like RealPlayer, Windows Media Player, QuickTime, and what you hear from the speakers. Look for "Stereo Mix, Stereo, Loopback, Wave, Wave Out Mix, Record Master or All".

For sound capturing from the external devices like radio, tapes, CDs, TV, telephone, and etc. Look for "Line-In".

For direct sound capture from mic, look for "Mic".

11. Where is the recorded video saved?
Click on File menu and select Open Output Folder. It will popup the directory where recorded video is saved. You may also refer to the recording details for the output location.

12. What is your refund policy?
Recordzilla is offerred as free trial so that users can try before they purchase to determine whether the software is suit their needs.Therefore our refund guarantee is only limiting to software bugs within our software. All refund request must provide a screenshot or detail explationation of "software failure" as a proof. We also deserve the rights to reject refund request that we suspected is a fraud request.

13. I need some tutorials how to use Recordzilla.
You can always check Recordzilla online tutorials at https://www.softdivshareware.com/recordzilla-screen-recorder-tutorials.html . We will be adding new tutorials from time to time.

14. My credit card has declined, what can be the problem?
This can be due to a few reasons. Please make sure that you have enter a valid postal code, address, country, state, card number, expiration month/year and etc. Alternatively, you can also pay with PayPal.

15. How to record mouse cursor?
Check the option record mouse cursor under Video Settings.

16. How to stop a recording?
There are 4 ways to stop a recording:

a) Using Hotkeys - Enter Shift + F5
b) Left-click on the System Tray red icon
c) Right-click on the System Tray red icon and select Stop Recording...
d) Right-click on the System Tray red icon, show Recordzilla and click on Stop recording button

17. How to add date and time stamping to the recording?
Check the option record Date & Time under the Video settings.

18. How to show Recordzilla again when it is hidden?
Right click on the small red icon in the system tray, and select "Show Recordzilla" from the popup menu .
