Stereo Channels Swapping Sides

I'm listening to a stero file that I just edited and the channels switch sides every second. One second I hear vocals left and piano right, the next second I hear piano left and vocals right. Back and forth.

Specifics:
Installed trial version of Dexster last night
De installed trial version
Removed folder c:\program files\dexster
Purchased licensed version of Dexster
Installed licensed version with password
Opened Dexster
Opened .WAV file
Cut a portion of the file
Saved the remaining part as an .MP3
Closed the program
Opened Dexter
Opened the .MP3 I just saved
The playback exhibits the channel swapping I just described.

How to fix this?

I have waited several days for a reply and have heard nothing from either the maker or from other forum members. I'm beginning to think that Dexster and its makers are mostly a sham, selling inferior software and becoming suspiciously unavailable when their products' shortcomings are brought up. I hope I'm incorrect in this.

IS ANYONE OUT THERE!!!!????
