Softdiv Software Releases Dexster 1.2
Turn your computer into a record studio with Dexster!
Dexster 1.2 is a very affordable audio editor with extended capabilities. With this software, anyone can record, edit, mix and process audio files. While Dexter is intended for professional use in television, movie, radio and music industries, amateurs too can use this software to record a funny high-pitched greeting or create cool sound effects.
Importantly, Dexter 1.2 supports all common music file formats – WAV (compressed and uncompressed), MP2, MP3, VOX, WMA, RAW audio, MPC, AVI (audio track), Ogg Vorbis, AIFF and AU. This makes Dexter a great software for converting audio files from one format to another.
Editing in Dexter 1.2 is done visually; the set of tools is standard - Cut, Copy, Delete, Paste, Mix, etc. The program supports markers and offers seventeen audio effects, like Amplify, Compressor or Vibrato. In addition, there are nine audio filters that can be applied – Band Pass, FFT, High Pass, High Shelf, Low Pass, Low Shelf, and Notch filters.
The program features a built-in audio player and support recording from any input device, like a microphone. Conveniently, there is online tutorial available for the folks who are unfamiliar with the basics of audio file editing. And since the program is free to try, there is no risk!
The price of a single copy is 40.00 US Dollars.
