These are the settings to determine the
way your source is exported.
Save In:
Output folder to store output files. By default the output
folder is C:\Snosh Project. To change the output location, click
on Browse button.
Output Filename:
By default the output filename will be the same as the input
filename. To use a different output filename, enter a new filename.
Output Type:
Snosh allows to export up to 6 different formats type at the
same time.
SWF (Flash 8, Flash MX, Flash 3+, Flash Vector)
Flash 8 SWF/Flash MX SWF is ideal for short video under
16 000 frames. Flash 8 SWF/Flash MX SWF uses high quality
compression which is comparable to QuickTime Video, Windows
Media Video, and Real Video. To play Flash 8 SWF, you will
need to have Flash 8 Player installed on your pc. Flash
MX will require Flash Player 6 and above.
Flash 3+ SWF is ideal for short/brief advertisement purpose.
To play Flash 3+ SWF, you will need to have Flash 3 and
above installed. Please note that MP3 will not play on Flash
3 Player. You will need to have Flash Player 4 and above
in order to play MP3.
Flash Vector SWF is ideal for vector based animation. To
play Flash 3+ SWF, you will need to have Flash 3 and above
installed. Please note that MP3 will not play on Flash 3
Player. You will need to have Flash Player 4 and above in
order to play MP3.
* If video is not included on the output, it will be exported
as Flash audio.
FLV (Flash 8, Flash MX)
FLV (Flash 8, Flash MX) is ideal for larger video. Unlike
SWF they don't have 16 000 frames limitation. FLV quality
is better compare to SWF format and they perform better.
FLV file format can be imported into Macromedia authoring
tools. Flash Player 7 and above is needed to play FLV files.
* If video is not included on the output, it will be exported
as Flash audio.
HTML
Hyper Text Markup Language or better known as HTML is common
method use to include a swf file into it. You are not require
to learn the HTML coding, you just need to check the HTML
checkbox and the html will be generated automatically.
Windows Projector Executables
Windows Projector Executables, EXE which is runable through
double clicks on the exe file. This is ideal for project
presentation or if you require to copy the Flash into the
cd.
MP3 Audio
MPEG Layer-3 format. Very popular format for keeping of
music.
The mp3 algorithm development started in 1987, with a joint
cooperation of Fraunhofer iis-a and the university of erlangen.
it is standardized as iso-mpeg audio layer 3. it soon became
the de facto standard for lossy audio encoding, due to the
high compression rates (1/12 of the original size, still
remaining considerable quality), the high availability of
decoders and the low cpu requirements for playback. (486
dx2-66 is enough for real-time decoding). it supports multichannel
files (although there's no implementation yet), sampling
frequencies from 16khz to 24khz (mpeg2 layer 3) and 32khz
to 48khz (mpeg1 layer 3). formal and informal listening
tests have shown that mp3 at the 192-256 kbps range provide
encoded results undistinguishable from the original materials
in most of the cases.
mp3 uses the following for compression:
- huffman coding;
- quantization;
- m/s matrixing;
- intensity stereo;
- channel coupling;
- modified discrete cosine transform (mdct);
- polyphase filter bank.Compression ratio is 1:10...1:12
corresponds to 128..112 kbps for a stereo signal.
MPEG Version 2.5 was added lately to the MPEG 2 standard.
It is an extension used for very low bitrate files, allowing
the use of lower sampling frequencies. If your decoder does
not support this extension, it is recommended for you to
use 12 bits for synchronization instead of 11 bits.
WAV Audio
Standard Windows WAV format for non-compressed audio files.
Pulse Code Modulation (PCM) is the standard method of digitally
encoding audio. It is the basic uncompressed data format
used in file types such as Windows .wav.
Background Colour:
By default, the output SWF will use black as background. To
change it, click on the background colour drop down and select
the background colour from the colour picker. Please note this
feature is only supported for SWF format.
Click on Export button to start the process.
